Tone capacitors are used in your electric guitar’s tone control and the capacitance value has an effect on how dark or bright your tone is.
0.01 uF is a good value if you don’t want the tone to be too dark when the tone control is turned down all the way. You may also find that you have a smoother sweep to the tone control, enabling you to fine tune the tone better.
Tight plus or minus 5% tolerance.
